Pattern Makers

Our first fundraising event

In August 2026, we excitedly kicked off our first fundraising event for Patterns Early Learning Center. Hosted at Half Liter Brewery, Bar & BBQ in the heart of Midtown, we gathered Pattern Makers - a mix of friends, families and neighbors - who believe our community deserves excellent, accessible childcare. Guests heard the story behind Patterns, met members of our founding board, and learned how their support directly helps us open our doors in Fall 2027.

We're happy to announce that because of the amazing support and help from these Pattern Makers, we raised $7,000. In addition, our Board of Directors is matching these donations, bringing us nearly half-way to our ultimate goal of $65,000!

Every gift made is going towards the essentials of opening our doors:
- High-quality learning materials & furnishings
- Licensing requirements
- Outdoor learning environments
- Initial staffing expenses

Just as meaningfully, the evening grew the circle of people invested in this work — the Pattern Makers helping shape a stronger beginning for children and families in Midtown Indianapolis.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, gave and shared our story. More details and photos from the event are below!
